About Humannatee

Leaving our mark on the future.

Humannatee is a small independent business created in 2024 by me, Anna Tee, a professional with a wealth of experience influencing improved outcomes and experiences for people. I have a dynamic and unique portfolio of knowledge, skills, and expertise, and I am driven by a passion for inspiring others and enabling sustainable change. I am a strong advocate for holding lived experiences at the centre of decision making, and for supporting our voices to be heard. I approach my work with a sense of curiosity, empowering others, and nurturing strong relationships for positive change.

Recording our personal stories can help us to reflect and grow. Telling our story is very different to having a conversation. It encourages deep introspection, helps make sense of pivotal moments, challenges, and achievements in our lives. Reflecting on our life journeys can help strengthen our sense of self and highlight the values and lessons that have shaped who we are.

Humannatee is committed to helping you to make a difference, whether that is in your personal life or for your organisation.

For individuals

Stories offer us a way for us to preserve our memories. Documenting our experiences ensures they are not lost over time, and provides a tangible connection for future generations, offering insight, advice, and inspiration to family members or others who may face similar paths. Our stories can bridge the gap between older and younger generations, creating shared understanding and a sense of continuity.

Sharing our life stories can inspire others to talk about their own experiences, fostering deeper connections and developing mutual respect. Above all telling our story is cathartic. Revisiting and articulating our experiences, especially the challenging ones, can be an empowering process that provides emotional relief, a sense of closure and a deeply meaningful way to honour our life’s journey.

For organisations

Stories can be used to help organisations improve. Hearing the voice of the people using the services of the organisation shares a perspective that is not always seen. This can help organisations to improve what they do, better meet the needs of those using their services, as well as better engage employees with the core purpose of why they do what they do.

Stories are very powerful in developing leadership, they can help leaders to connect with people, recognise biases and prioritise inclusivity. They can advocate for marginalised groups and provide platforms to amplify the voices of those who might be facing inequality, and improve social cohesion through listening to communities who want to be heard.

Storytelling is also a powerful way to hear the voice of the employee, in a space that feels safe to share the good, as well as ideas and concerns, to better connect organisations and align strategic planning with the needs of the workforce. It can encourage diverse perspectives at all levels, ensuring people in leadership roles hear and act on the stories from traditionally overlooked groups.
